The hockey score tracker for rinks, pitches and ponds
Tap the team that scored. Sport Score Tracker turns that one tap into the full hockey score: goals, periods or quarters, and overtime if the game stays level. Ice hockey and field hockey both covered. Free on iPhone and Apple Watch, fully offline.
One tap per goal, ice or field
Keeping hockey score is simple until you are the one doing it: gloves on, stick in hand, game moving fast. This hockey scorekeeper asks for exactly one thing, a tap on the side that scored, and does the rest. It covers ice and field hockey both: choose ice hockey and the match runs over three periods; choose field hockey and it runs over four quarters. Goals, the current period and the final result are all tracked for you, and undo is always one tap away when a goal comes back off review or you mis-tap with cold thumbs.
Overtime your way
Tied at the end? You decide what that means before the puck drops. Allow draws and a level game is recorded honestly as a draw, the way league fixtures work. Turn draws off and the app keeps playing sudden-death style overtime periods until one team takes the lead, so a pond hockey grudge match always gets its winner.
Built for rec leagues, pond hockey and training games
No clock to babysit, no lineup admin, no signal required. That makes it right at home wherever the official scoreboard is not: rec league nights, frozen ponds, small-sided training games and back-garden shootouts. Score from your Apple Watch with full parity while your phone stays in your bag, and if you are playing rather than benched, the watch records the match as a workout with heart rate and calories in Apple Health.
Share the score, keep the record
Friends at the rink can watch the live score nearby on their own devices, or from home over FaceTime SharePlay. AirPlay a read-only scoreboard to a TV in the clubhouse so everyone can see it. Afterwards, your history builds win-loss records and per-match stats, so the season rivalry has receipts.

Hockey scoring questions
Does the hockey score tracker work for both ice hockey and field hockey?
Yes. Pick ice hockey for three periods or field hockey for four quarters. Scoring is the same either way: tap the team that scored and the app keeps the goals and the period structure straight.
What happens if the game is tied at the end?
Your choice. Allow draws and a level game is recorded as a draw, just like a league fixture. Turn draws off and the app keeps playing sudden-death style overtime periods until one team leads.
Can I keep the hockey score from my Apple Watch?
Yes. The watch app scores hockey with full parity, so your phone can stay in your bag at the rink. For matches you play in, the watch can also record a workout with heart rate and calories in Apple Health.
Can spectators follow the score live?
Yes. Friends nearby can watch the live score on their own devices, or over FaceTime SharePlay from anywhere. You can also AirPlay a read-only scoreboard to a TV at the rink or clubhouse.
Is the hockey score tracker free?
Yes. Scoring hockey, and all 18 sports, is free with no ads and works fully offline. A Pro subscription adds unlimited history, Insights and deep stats.
