A golf scorecard app without the clutter

Most golf apps want to be a caddie, a coach and a social network. This is a golf scorecard app that just keeps the card, so you can keep golf score in stroke and match play without the clutter. Choose 9 or 18 holes, set the par for each hole (it defaults to 4), and after each hole enter everyone's strokes. One entry commits the whole hole, and the app keeps running totals against par for every player. Put the wrong number in? Undo reverts the last hole.

Stroke play for the fourball

In stroke play the card holds 2 to 4 players, so one phone scores the whole group. Every shot counts, the totals build hole by hole, and the lowest score wins. Scores are gross strokes, straight off the club, with no handicap adjustment, so what you see is exactly what everyone shot.

Match play that knows when it is over

Head to head, match play scores holes up and down the way the game is actually talked about: 2 up, all square, dormie. The app knows when a lead is bigger than the holes left and ends the match the moment it is mathematically decided, with a real result like 3&2, not a meaningless stroke total.

Pocket the phone, play the round

Between holes the phone stays in your pocket, or skip it entirely and score from your Apple Watch with full parity. The watch can record the round as a workout, with heart rate and calories saved to Apple Health. Friends at home can follow the match live over FaceTime SharePlay, and your history builds a record of every round, no account and no ads, fully offline even when the back nine has no signal.

Golf scoring questions

Does match play show real results like 3&2?

Yes. In match play the app scores holes up and down, knows when a lead is bigger than the holes left, and ends the match the moment it is mathematically decided, with the proper result, like 3&2.

How many players can the golf score tracker handle?

Stroke play supports 2 to 4 players on one scorecard, so a full fourball fits on one phone. Match play is head to head between 2 players.

Can I score a 9 hole round?

Yes. Choose 9 or 18 holes when you start the round, and set the par for each hole as you go. Par defaults to 4, so most holes need no extra input.

Does the golf scorecard app support handicaps?

Not yet. The app scores gross strokes only, with no handicap adjustment. Stroke play totals every shot and the lowest gross score wins; match play compares gross scores hole by hole.

Is the golf score tracker free?

Yes. Scoring golf, and all 18 sports, is free with no ads and works fully offline, which matters on courses with no signal. A Pro subscription adds unlimited history, Insights and deep stats.
