Bowling Score Keeper
Tap the pins. The maths is done.
Tap how many pins fell and Sport Score Tracker does the part nobody enjoys: strike and spare bonuses, the tenth frame, the running total and the best score still possible. Bowl alone or with up to six, one game or a series. On iPhone and Apple Watch, fully offline.
A scoresheet that scores itself
Ten pin scoring trips people up for one reason: a strike or a spare is not worth anything until the next balls are thrown. This bowling score keeper handles that for you. After each ball, tap the number of pins on the pin pad; a strike and a spare each have their own key. The scoresheet fills in with the usual marks, X, / and -, and each frame's running total appears the moment it can be known. The pad only accepts counts that are possible, so after a 7 you cannot enter more than 3.
On your own, or the whole lane
Most bowling is practice, so a solo game is the default: no opponent needed, and it does not count as a win or a loss, just a score. Add up to six bowlers and the app keeps the order, shows who is up and which frame, and settles the game on the highest total. Bowling a league night? Set a series of up to six games; the next game starts by itself and the series total decides it.
Max score, quick log and your average
During a game each bowler sees the highest score still possible, which tells you exactly what that open frame cost. If the lane's own screen already scored a game, log it by its total in a couple of taps so it still counts. Over time Insights builds your average, high game and high series, with your strike rate and how often you convert a spare.
From your wrist, and after the last frame
The Apple Watch app has the same pin pad, so your phone can stay on the table. Every game keeps its frame by frame sheet and its numbers: strikes, spares, open frames, first ball average and your longest run of strikes. It all works offline, with no account.
| Game | Ten pin, traditional scoring |
|---|---|

| Bowlers | 1 to 6, solo by default |
| Series | 1 to 6 games |
| Scored for you | Strikes, spares and the tenth frame |

Bowling scoring questions
How does the app score strikes and spares?
By the standard ten pin rules. A strike scores ten plus your next two balls, a spare scores ten plus your next ball, and the tenth frame gives the extra balls you earn. You only tap the pins for each ball; the frame totals fill in as soon as the bonus balls are bowled.
Can I keep score when I bowl on my own?
Yes. One bowler is the default. A solo game is saved with its score and feeds your average and high game, and it is not counted as a win or a loss.
How many bowlers and games can it handle?
Up to six bowlers, and a series of up to six games. With a series the board shows the game number and each bowler's series total.
Can I record a game the lane already scored?
Yes. Before your first ball of a game, choose Log a finished game and enter the total. It counts toward your average and high game; because no balls are recorded, it is left out of your strike and spare percentages.
Does it track my bowling average?
Yes. Insights shows your average, your high game and high series, plus your strike rate and spare conversion across your games.
Does it handle handicap or other scoring systems?
Not at the moment. The app scores scratch ten pin games with traditional scoring.
Is the bowling score keeper free?
The app is free to download, with no ads and no account, and it works fully offline. Tracking a match is part of Pro, a monthly subscription or a one time lifetime purchase, and Pro covers bowling and all 23 sports.
