Snooker Scoreboard
Tap the ball. The break counts itself.
Tap the ball you potted. Sport Score Tracker adds it to the break, updates the frame score and tells you how many points are left on the table, and it only offers the balls that are on. On iPhone and Apple Watch, fully offline.
A scoreboard that knows what is on
Most snooker scoreboard apps are a pair of counters and you do the adding. This one follows the frame. With a red on, it offers a red. After a red it offers the six colours, each in its own colour with its value on it. When the reds have gone it walks the colours in order, yellow to black. One tap per pot, and the break and the frame score move together.
Points remaining and snookers required
Two numbers decide how you play the next shot, and both are always on screen: the current break and the points remaining on the table. When the player behind can no longer win on what is left, the app says so and tells you how many snookers they need.
Fouls, free balls and the awkward bits
Tap Foul, pick four to seven, and the points go to the other player along with the table; you can mark that a red went down on the foul too. A free ball is offered on the stroke after a foul and scores as the ball on. If the frame ends level the app plays the re-spotted black. Concede and re-rack are there when you need them, a referee's correction can adjust either score, and undo steps back one entry at a time, even into the previous frame.
Frames, formats and your best break
Play a single frame or best of any odd number up to 35, with 15, 10 or 6 reds, and choose who breaks first; the break alternates after that. Score from your Apple Watch at the table, or put a scoreboard on the club TV with AirPlay. Every match is saved with its highest break, the breaks over 20, 30, 50 and 100, balls potted and fouls, and Insights keeps your best break and your centuries.

Snooker scoring questions
How do I score a break?
Tap each ball as it is potted. The app adds its value to the break and the frame score, and offers the next legal balls: a red, then a colour, and the colours in order once the reds have gone. Tap End break when the visit is over.
How are fouls scored?
Tap Foul and choose the value, from four to seven. The points go to the opponent, who comes to the table. If a red was potted on the foul you can mark it so the points remaining stay right.
Does it handle a free ball?
Yes. A free ball is offered on the stroke after a foul. It scores as the ball that was on, without taking a red off the table.
Does it show points remaining and snookers required?
Yes. Points remaining is always on screen, and when the trailing player cannot win on the balls left the app shows how many snookers they need.
Can I play six red or ten red snooker?
Yes. Choose 15, 10 or 6 reds when you set up the match, and any length from a single frame to best of 35.
Does it score doubles or handicap matches?
Not at the moment. Matches are one player or team a side, from level.
Is the snooker scoreboard free?
The app is free to download, with no ads and no account, and it works fully offline. Tracking a match is part of Pro, a monthly subscription or a one time lifetime purchase, and Pro covers snooker and all 23 sports.
