These terms cover your use of the Sport Score Tracker iOS and watchOS app and this website. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The short version: use the app for keeping score, subscribe to Pro only if you want to, and be sensible.

The app and your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Sport Score Tracker on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. The app, its design and its code remain ours. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where the law expressly allows it.

Free features

Scoring is free for all 18 sports, with no ads. The free tier includes Apple Watch scoring, workout tracking, live sharing and your most recent match history, as described in the app. We may adjust what is included in the free tier over time, but matches you have already recorded stay yours, on your device.

Pro subscription

• What it is: Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited match history, Insights and detailed play-by-play statistics.
• Plans and price: Pro is available monthly or yearly. The exact price in your currency is always shown in the app and on the App Store payment sheet before you confirm.
• Free trial: the yearly plan includes a 14 day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid period.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling: manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

Your matches and stats live on your device; see the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping a device backup if your history matters to you. Deleting the app deletes its local data.

Health and fitness disclaimer

Workout tracking shows information recorded by Apple Watch, such as heart rate and estimated calories. It is provided for general fitness interest only and is not medical advice, a medical device or a diagnosis. Consult a professional before making health decisions, and stop exercising if you feel unwell.

Fair use

The scores, names and photos in the app are entered by you. Do not use the app to store unlawful content, and only add photos of people with their permission. Live sharing sends the score to people you invite; you are responsible for what you share.

No warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is". We work hard to score every sport correctly, but we do not warrant that the app is error-free or fit for any official, professional or competition use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes will be posted here with the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
