Game night scoring rules
How to score the games people play on game night: Catan victory points, trivia and pub quizzes, cornhole, roundnet, pool races and foosball. Each page explains the scoring rules with a worked example, then shows how to keep that score one tap at a time.
New to keeping score? Start with how to keep score for any game: what to agree before the first point, and which games need a score sheet instead, such as Uno, Hearts and Yahtzee. To see the board itself, read about the scoreboard app.
Every page lists its sources: the game's publisher or governing body where there is one, otherwise a standard reference. Each one also says plainly where the scoreboard needs a workaround, such as Catan's Longest Road changing hands or roundnet's win by 2.
