The best tennis score keeper apps for Apple Watch

Short answer: if you want to know how you played, not just the score, SwingVision records the match on your iPhone for AI shot stats, highlights and line calls while you keep score on your Apple Watch; its AI features need a Pro subscription. For detailed charting without video, such as aces, double faults, winners and errors, MatchTrack scores on iPhone and Apple Watch. If family or a coach wants to follow along, ShareScore lets you score from the watch while they follow the live score in its app or on the web. Easy Tennis Score Keeper is a free watch app with an announcer that calls the score. Sport Score Tracker (our app) suits players who want one-tap offline scoring on iPhone and Apple Watch, with No-Ad and super tiebreak options, but it records no serve stats or video and needs a Pro subscription. We checked every listing on 25 September 2026.

We make Sport Score Tracker, so we have kept this page to what each developer says about its own app, and we say where our app falls short. Every app here keeps the running score for you: you record who won each point and it works out games, deuce, tiebreaks and sets. They differ in how much they record about each point, who can follow the match, and how they are paid for.

The first four rows come from each app's App Store listing and the developer's own website or guides, checked on 25 September 2026. The Sport Score Tracker row comes from the app's own scoring rules, checked the same day.

Before you pick, check the format you play. Many club and league matches use No-Ad scoring, where the next point at deuce wins the game, and replace a deciding set with a 10-point match tiebreak. Our guides to No-Ad scoring and the match tiebreak explain both, and how to keep score in tennis covers the rest.

Which app for which player

Best for AI video stats, highlights and line calls: SwingVision

An AI video app for tennis and pickleball by SwingVision, Inc. You set up your iPhone or iPad to record the court, and the app analyses the match from that one camera.

  • Best at: what happened in each rally. The listing describes shot speed, depth, accuracy and rally length, automated stats and a scoreboard on your video, highlights of your best rallies, line calling and personalised coaching after each session. It calls itself the official player and ball tracking app of Tennis Australia, the LTA and the ITA.
  • Apple Watch: you can keep score on the watch, game by game or point by point, while the iPhone records; SwingVision's own guide recommends this for the most accurate stats and scoreboard. The listing also mentions challenging line calls with slow-motion replays and saving tennis workouts to Apple Health.
  • Offline: not stated on the listing.
  • Pricing model: a SwingVision Pro subscription unlocks automated scoring, line calling and unlimited cloud storage. The listing mentions a free trial.
  • Limitation: it is built around recording, so you need a phone or tablet set up on court, and the listing does not say which scoring formats, such as No-Ad or a match tiebreak, it supports.

Best for detailed stats and match charting: MatchTrack

A tennis score keeper and charting app for iPhone and Apple Watch by MatchTrack.

  • Best at: recording more than the score. Simple Scoring tracks who won each point and whether it came on a first or second serve, which gives serve percentages, serve and return points won and break points. Detailed Scoring adds aces, double faults, winners, and forced and unforced errors, and Shot Stats counts forehands, backhands, volleys, drop shots and overheads hit for winners or errors.
  • Apple Watch: the developer's guide says a match you create on the iPhone appears on the watch, where you can score it and undo a point.
  • Offline: not stated on the listing. It needs no account or personal information.
  • Pricing model: free to download, with in-app purchases. The listing text we checked does not spell out what the paid upgrade adds.
  • Other features: Ad or No-Ad scoring, tiebreak and final-set tiebreak settings, matches of 1, 3 or 5 sets, Fast 4 and Pro Set, player profiles with match records, charts, and a live broadcast of the score that anyone can follow, even without the app.
  • Limitation: you set a match up on the iPhone before you can score it on the watch, and detailed charting means more than one tap per point.

Best for family and coaches following live: ShareScore

A tennis score keeper for iPhone and Apple Watch, listed as Tennis Score Keeper: ShareScore by Ramos Valencia Josue Rafael.

  • Best at: sharing the match. You score from the watch, and friends and family follow every point in real time in the app or on the web, with a notification when a player they follow starts a match. You can also stream the match live with the score over the video, and start or stop the stream from the watch.
  • Apple Watch: the listing says you can score from the watch without touching your phone, with the iPhone and watch kept in sync.
  • Offline: not stated on the listing. Live following and streaming need a connection.
  • Pricing model: core scoring, undo and match sharing are free. Pro adds extras; the developer names play-by-play, an AI coach and live streaming.
  • Other features: singles and doubles with serving rotation, 4, 6, 8 or 10 games per set, a standard 7-point tiebreak or a 10-point super tiebreak, and Lock Screen widgets.
  • Limitation: the listing text we checked does not mention No-Ad scoring or Apple Health workouts.

Best for hearing the score called on court: Easy Tennis Score Keeper

A free Apple Watch scorer by Brett Kuprel.

  • Best at: keeping your eyes on the ball. An announcer tells you the score, when it is game point, set point or match point, and when to switch sides, and it keeps talking while music plays.
  • Apple Watch: you choose whether you serve first and the watch takes the scoring from there. It saves a Tennis activity to the Activity and Health apps, and needs watchOS 7 or later.
  • Offline: not stated on the listing. The developer's privacy label says it collects no data.
  • Pricing model: free.
  • Other features: matches of 1 set, best of 3 or best of 5.
  • Limitation: the listing does not mention No-Ad scoring, a match tiebreak, doubles, match history or statistics.

Best for one-tap offline scoring: Sport Score Tracker

Our app, for iPhone and Apple Watch. You tap the side that won the point and it works out the game, deuce, tiebreak, set and match. It also scores 17 other sports.

  • Best at: fast scoring that works anywhere. It works offline, needs no account and shows no ads.
  • Apple Watch: you can score a match from the watch, including undo. A match started on the watch uses the standard settings; for any other format, start it on the iPhone. It needs your iPhone within reach to start a match; once started, the watch keeps taking points if the phone drops out of range and catches up when it reconnects. If you turn on Health tracking, matches save to Apple Health as workouts.
  • Offline: yes. Match data stays on your device.
  • Pricing model: free to download; a Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) is needed to start using the app. Pro also includes unlimited history, Insights and detailed stats.
  • Tennis scoring: singles or doubles; advantage, or No-Ad, where the next point at 40-40 wins (the scoreboard shows a Golden Point chip at 40-40); best of 1, 3 or 5 sets; a 7-point tiebreak at 6-6; a 4-game set option (labelled Fast4); a 10-point super tiebreak in place of the deciding set; the serve shown every game and through tiebreaks; undo of the last point.
  • Sharing: friends can follow the live score nearby or over SharePlay, and you can show it on a TV with AirPlay.
  • Limitations: there is no shot tracking, no serve stats (aces, faults, double faults, first-serve percentage) and no video. The 4-game (Fast4) option plays a 7-point tiebreak at 4-4, not the official FAST4 5-point tiebreak at 3-3. Tiebreak points are not shown in the set score (a tiebreak set is stored as 7-6), Side A always serves first, and there is no advantage final set or Grand Slam 10-point tiebreak at 6-6. The serve indicator is per side, not per doubles partner, and there are no change-of-ends reminders.

How we compared

We looked at whether you can score on the watch itself, which tennis formats are built in (No-Ad, tiebreaks, a super tiebreak, doubles), whether the app works without a connection, how it is paid for, and what it does best. For the other apps we used only what each developer states on its App Store listing or its own website and guides, checked on 25 September 2026. Where a listing does not say, we say so. We did not rank apps by star ratings or review counts, and no app paid to be included.

Sport Score Tracker is described from its own scoring rules, checked on the same date. Many more tennis scorers turn up in App Store searches; we kept to apps whose listings we could check in enough detail. Features and prices change, so check the current listing before you pay.
