Padel scoring guides
Padel is scored like tennis (15, 30, 40, game), with sets to 6 games and a tiebreak at 6-6. These guides cover the parts players argue about: what happens at 40-40, who serves in a tiebreak, and how Americano points add up.
New to padel scoring? Start with how to keep score in padel, which plays a whole game and a tiebreak point by point and explains the serve rotation through all four players and when to change ends.
Then go to the rule you need. The golden point guide scores the same rallies with Golden Point, Advantage and the 2026 Star Point, so you can see how each one ends a game. The padel tiebreak rules cover who serves each point, when to change ends and the 10-point super tiebreak. For social nights, Americano and Mexicano explains personal points totals and gives a printable 8-player rotation. To check who serves any tiebreak point, the tiebreak serve order helper works for padel too, because both sports use the same pattern.
The match rules are checked against the International Padel Federation (FIP) Rules of Padel. Americano and Mexicano are social formats outside those rules, so the organiser sets their details. The point-by-point tables are scored by the same rules as the padel score tracker app; the Star Point and Americano examples are worked out by hand, because the app does not score those formats.
